Leading healthcare institutions will showcase how patient portals have been deployed to enable patient access to appointments, laboratory test results and secure communications with clinicians. Clinicians will also showcase how mobile technologies are enabling them to care for more patients in more places.

Innovative Technologies meet Change Management
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), Real Time Location Systems (RTLS), Barcoding, Clinical Decision support all offer transformative options for healthcare systems if used correctly. Speakers at WoHIT 2014 will describe how they were able to implement these new systems, please the hospital staff and obtain financial and clinical savings as a result.
