Two Weeks Until the 2013 HIMSS Europe CIO Summit in Madrid

HIMSS Europe12 - 14 November 2013, Madrid, Spain.
It's now only two weeks until the 2013 HIMSS Europe CIO Summit in Madrid - HIMSS Europe's biggest event for the fourth quarter. And though time is racing by, the good news is it's still not too late to secure your place at what's shaping up to be one of the most important concentrations of health informatics stakeholders this year - in not just Europe, but beyond.

World-class conference stream
Madrid offers a comprehensive agenda for all trackers of decisive trends in the European healthcare IT sector - with sessions on how to build truly global, multidisciplinary approaches to health technology, to how to best integrate nurses into modern hospital IT structures, while also detailing the next steps in mobile innovation for improving patient care. Delivering such sessions will be some of the best-known names in the field, including hospital CIOs, independent experts and key vendors.

High-quality delegate roster
Confirmed attendees for Madrid include holders of senior IT leadership positions in pathfinder institutions such as Odense University Hospital (Denmark), GH Paris Saint-Joseph (France), University Hospital Gent (Belgium) and St Patrick's University Hospital (Ireland).

And such decision-makers are also being joined by heavyweights from right across the vendor community - as some of the biggest companies in not just healthcare IT but the technology market itself have committed to be at the show.

Special Summit feature: eHealth "Roadshow"
What help can fresh technology providers offer hospital CIOs? Delegates to the CIO Summit will want to take advantage of hearing what ten innovative local Spanish health technology vendors have to offer them.

A satellite event's been set up for no more than 10 such tech SMEs to deliver short, punchy introductions to what they do (with all presentations in English). The session is also at the end of the Summit's first day (4-6pm) so should be easily accessible, too.

Other attractions
Madrid will offer hospital CIOs conducted trips around high-achieving Spanish hospitals to share best practice around change-making EMR.

  • Superlative networking and peer-outreach facilities.
  • Leisure and cultural opportunities at one of Europe's grandest and easiest - to get to capitals

Check out the agenda - And make your plans today.
