conhIT 2014: Attractive Programme for Health IT Insiders Now Online

conhIT 20146 - 8 May 2014, Berlin, Germany.
Visitors and exhibitors at conhIT 2014 can now find details of all the events at the Industrial Fair both in the programme flyer and on the conhIT website. In cooperation with institutions from Germany and abroad around 150 events have been organised which cover the entire range of health IT topics. In addition to 18 morning sessions at the Congress - six more than in previous years - there will also be Academy seminars, numerous panel discussions, business meetings and career events. The wide variety of topics is due to the demand for advanced training in this sector and perfectly rounds off the wide range of services offered by exhibitors. This year they are even more comprehensive and for the first time cover three halls.

Federal Minister of Health Hermann Gröhe has agreed to act as patron of conhIT 2014, which from 6 to 8 May will be taking place on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. Around 6,000 trade visitors are expected to attend. gmds e.V. and BVMI e.V., the partners of conhIT, will be extending an invitation to workshops organised as part of the supporting events on the eve of conhIT. Reduced rates are available to members of numerous associations from the healthcare sector.

About conhIT - Connecting Health IT
conhIT targets decision-makers in IT departments, management, in the medical profession, healthcare services and administration, nursing, doctors, doctors’ networks and medical care centres who need to find out about the latest developments in IT and healthcare, meet members of the industry and make use of opportunities for high-level advanced training. Launched in 2008 by the German Association of Health IT Vendors (bvitg) as the meeting place for the health IT industry and organised by Messe Berlin, this event recently recorded 320 exhibitors and 5,980 visitors in 2013 and has now become Europe’s leading event for the health IT sector.

conhIT is organised in cooperation with the following industry associations: the German Association of Healthcare IT Vendors (bvitg), the German Association for Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology (gmds), the German Association of Medical Computer Scientists (BVMI). The National Association of Hospital IT Managers (KH-IT) and the Working Group of Directors of Medical Computing Centres at German University Clinics (ALKRZ) have provided contributions to the subject matter.
