An eHealth Slam is due to be held for the first time at conhIT 2016. It gives candidates an opportunity to present practically oriented eHealth projects to a wide audience in a brief and entertaining form. The three best presentations, which will be held in the conhIT Networking Area, will receive prize money totalling 850 euros.
Anyone interested in the event is invited to apply. The deadline is 14 March 2016. Candidates must submit a brief CV and a project abstract or a short video about the project. A jury comprising students, scientists and members of industry will look at all the entries and select those which promise to be an entertaining lecture on the eHealth sector. The jury's selection will be announced on 25 March 2016. The eHealth Slam, at which a topic or project must be presented in the space of eight minutes, will take place at conhIT on 20 April 2016, where an audience of experts will give prizes to the best three candidates. At conhIT 2016 more than 7,500 visitors and around 400 exhibitors are expected to attend.
