iMDsoft Wins Framework Agreement with UniHA, a Leading French Public Sector Purchasing Group

iMDsoftUniHA, a cooperative network purchasing group comprised of French public hospitals, announced that MetaVision by iMDsoft is their clinical information system of choice for critical care. After an extensive evaluation process, UniHA decided that MetaVision was the best fit for their needs. The group valued iMDsoft’s long and productive partnerships with leading hospitals such as Hôpitaux Universitaires La Pitié Salpêtrière, Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Nice and Centre Hospitalier Universitaire (CHU) de Bordeaux. Additionally, iMDsoft had the most experience working with neonatal and paediatric units, and offered specialised functionality for these environments that other vendors did not. MetaVision's adaptability and ease of use were additional factors in its selection. Centre Hospitalier Libourne, the site coordinating the MetaVision project for UniHA, began implementation of the system in June 2016 and will include 25 beds in their ICUs. The 1200+ bed hospital provides all major medical and surgical specialties and is constantly introducing innovative technology.

Built to meet the unique needs of the critical care environment, MetaVision will provide UniHA's hospitals with complete electronic patient records. The system offers advanced tools for clinical workflow management and documentation, clinical assessment, care planning and medication management. Using MetaVision's powerful decision support and analysis tools, the hospitals will be able to enforce clinical and administrative protocols and continually identify opportunities for increased patient safety.

"We are excited about bringing MetaVision's many unique capabilities to our hospitals. The system can accommodate ICUs of any size and any specialty," said Pierre-Jean Warnitz, Director of Information and Health Technology Systems, C.H. Libourne. "iMDsoft has a proven track record of rapid deployment for multiple sites. Working with iMDsoft will help UniHA's hospitals optimise their investments and reduce operating costs."

"We are proud to partner with a prestigious group such as UniHA and to help their hospitals deliver exceptional patient care. We are seeing more purchasing groups and health networks adopting MetaVision," said Lars-Oluf Nielsen, CEO of iMDsoft. "As UniHA’s new sites begin working with MetaVision, we look forward to their realising the many clinical and operational benefits reported by our existing French customers."
