SINCERE Project in the Field of eHealth

SINCERE ProjectThe main aim of the SINCERE Project is to involve SMEs to be active in the eHealth sector by providing them with knowledge, networking and sharing knowledge with other players, future roadmaps and innovation strategies.

SINCERE will bring SMEs closer to researchers in the eHealth field, all with the objective of preparing them for participation in Framework Programme or other research projects supported by the European Commission.

SINCERE operates in Sweden, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Latvia, Norway and Turkey. The countries have reached different levels of development in the eHealth area, which will contribute to achieve synergy effects.

Throughout the SINCERE Project, the SMEs will be given support and assistance in both partnering and project cooperation. The set targets and objectives focus almost exclusively on increasing competence, knowledge and activities among SMEs in developing technology roadmaps and Framework Programme project participation. These components will be provided mainly through regional workshops and training seminars.

The Sincere Project target is to actively involve SMEs by publishing their partnering profiles on various databases, and to have some of the actively participating companies forming partnerships. SMEs will receive knowledge and training in how to participate in FP projects and on how to roadmap technologies and innovation. These components will be provided mainly through regional workshops and training seminars. As internationalisation is a vital link in improving the employment situation, through encouraging investments and thus stimulating growth, a transnational conference (in combination with a workshop) in eHealth will be held in 2007.
