"While introducing a streamlined organization, Agfa HealthCare has invested in major clinical and infrastructural innovations in IT," states Volker Wetekam, Executive Vice President in charge of Agfa HealthCare's IT division. "We have spent a significant amount of time understanding our customer needs over the past years, and have worked hard to deliver reliable and performing solutions which meet those needs from a clinical perspective. The success of these actions is reflected in the extensive growth of our customer base, on a global level, and across different care facilities, large and small. It is that growth which we intend to expand on, as we look into the development of new and innovative solutions, built on our customer's needs, and designed to support their transition to a fully functional IT environment. These solutions will improve workflow, increase efficiencies and enable the effective delivery of patient care."
