WHO Joins the Team for eHealth Week 2017

The World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for Europe will be contributing to the program of eHealth Week in May 2017. The event, which is organised by the Maltese Ministry for Health - as part of the Maltese Presidency of the Council of the European Union - the European Commission, and HIMSS-CHIME Europe will focus on the overarching theme "Data for Health: The key to personalised sustainable care" and will particularly highlight the impact that data has on patients' and citizens' health.

Once again, the world's biggest medical trade fair MEDICA and the leading international supplier trade fair COMPAMED, which take place in Düsseldorf, have provided a powerful stimulus for the international medical technology industry.
