Rotherham Opts for Multilex DDF in MEDITECH

First DataBankThe Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is adopting First DataBank's Multilex Drug Data File (Multilex DDF), the UK's leading drug knowledge base, as a key component of the Trust's MEDITECH Electronic Patient Record system.

The purchase of the latest MEDITECH v6.0 Electronic Patient Record solution from FileTek UK Ltd is part of a new strategic informatics direction for the Trust planned over the next ten years.

Brian James, CEO Rotherham Rotherham chief executive Brian James stated "This fully integrated electronic patient record will cover the entire patient journey within and beyond the hospital. Including First DataBank's Multilex DDF was the obvious choice, supporting prescribing, dispensing and administration decisions, helping our health professionals to provide the best patient care."
