Clinical SolutionsClinical Solutions has announced the implementation of its decision support technology, to support a simple and safe patient assessment process, at Aberdeen’s first pharmacy based minor injury walk in clinic.

The clinic, in the Bon Accord Centre in Boots, will be a nurse–led weekend walk-in service. It will operate as part of a Scottish Government-funded pilot involving pharmacies in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Dundee, Edinburgh and Airdrie offering a range of extra services and extended hours with the aim to increase patient access and reduce waiting times.

Jean Challiner, Chief Medical Officer at Clinical Solutions, says, "The IntefleCS technology will support the clinical assessment and treatment process and at the same time create an auditable detailed electronic clinical record. Patient safety is paramount in any service and our technology supports high quality evidence based care customised to this healthcare setting to optimise the patient care pathway."
