iMDsoft Accelerates Growth in 2015 with Successful Projects in 45+ Units

iMDsoftiMDsoft announced that the MetaVision clinical information system was successfully implemented in more than 45 anaesthesia and critical care units across the globe over the past 12 months.

Some highlights of recent implementation projects include:

  • New sites in Canada: Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre &The Hospital for Sick Children
  • First go-live at Uppsala County Council in Sweden: project of 235 high acuity beds across 2 sites
  • Completion of VISN 11 project in the US: one standardized layout across 6 sites
  • First go-live at University Hospital Southampton in the UK: project of 100 anaesthesia and ICU beds and mobile electronic observations for general wards
  • Expanding in new markets: rollout in the Czech Republic
  • New sites in Australia: Chris O’Brien Lifehouse & Fiona Stanley Hospital

"The partnership between the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and iMDsoft to implement the MetaVision clinical information system has been a great success. Our clinicians and patients benefit from continuity of information, availability of data for reporting and clinical research and a system that has been configured to meet the needs of our organisation," said Professor Michael Boyer, Chief Clinical Officer, Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.

MetaVision ICU generates complete and accurate electronic medical records and includes advanced tools for clinical assessment, treatment and care planning. The system is designed to meet the unique needs of the critical care environment, and supports all types of intensive care units, step-down units and intermediate care units.

MetaVision Anaesthesia is an advanced Anaesthesia Information Management System that provides automated anaesthetic record keeping, making documentation fast and easy. Anaesthetists enjoy all the benefits of an automated solution: automatic data capture, pre-populated charts, complete and accurate anaesthesia records, advanced clinical decision support, and a rich data repository for clinical studies and management reports.

Our commitment to innovation resulted in the introduction of MetaVision SafeTrack, our mobile electronic observation solution, in the fall of 2015. MetaVision SafeTrack automates early warning score calculations, nursing assessments and escalations and provides smart alerts for conditions like sepsis and AKI, ensuring timely intervention for patient deterioration.

"MetaVision's flexibility means it can accommodate a wide range of markets, multi-site health networks and changing customer needs," said Lars-Oluf Nielsen, CEO of iMDsoft. "This year, we expanded our offerings beyond critical care, bringing value to a wider community of iMDsoft customers and their patients."
