Your Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develop the strategy for Radiology's Digital Solution business
  • Continuously identify new value creation opportunities and refine the strategy based on new insights and developments in the market
  • Build and continuously update the business case; identify and mitigate risks and proactively manage uncertainties as well as build and implement an ambitious, but achievable implementation plan
  • Create a full implementation plan including capabilities needed, product and technology roadmaps and commercial/go-to-market strategy
  • Build internal and external partnerships to ensure all the capabilities are available to implement the strategy
  • Ensure close alignment and collaboration with all the key functions that are involved in implementing the Digital Solutions strategy
  • Set up optimal structure, governance and processes for the Digital Solutions business to ensure success in a rapidly evolving and innovating market place
  • Manage the global P/L (virtual) for Digital Solutions Business
  • Work with Regions to ensure P/L objectives are delivered and to ensure there is appropriate funding/investment into Digital Solutions Business
  • Inspire Radiology and Pharma behind Digital Solutions "Champion for Radiology Digital Solutions"
  • Ensure regional support and inputs into the strategy and implementation plan as well as that regions are ready and adequately resourced for commercialization
  • Champion for the launched digital solutions to stakeholders
  • Represent digital solutions to KOLs and to other key stakeholders as well as radiology Digital Solutions Business in key decision-making bodies within Bayer
  • Ensure Customer Insight is central to informing Radiology Digital Solution strategy and represent Radiology Digital Solution with external partnership
  • Develop and maintain a motivated, competent team by assuring that hiring, compensation, development and advancement are all in-line with talents and expectations

Who You Are

  • University degree (PhD, MBA or comparable education) preferred medicine/ (digital) sciences/ business
  • Long-term experience of progressive healthcare experience in strategic marketing, launching new businesses and working with new product launch
  • Very strong business acumen and understanding of pharmaceutical industry covering entire value chain from R&D/Medical to Commercial/Market Access and Product Supply
  • Experience in start-up company strongly preferred as well as a successful new business development or launch experience is required
  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical/problem solving skills as well as excellent written and oral communication skills (English mandatory)
  • Proven ability to work in a global matrix organization; experience gained as part of an international assignment is a plus
