Call for experts for FP7 Challenge 5: Towards sustainable and personalised healthcare

ICT for Health (eHealth) is looking for experts related to three objectives addressed by the call 1 & 2 for proposals (1- personal health systems; 2- patient safety; 3- biomedical informatics and modelling and simulation of physiology and disease related processes).

The European Commission has published a call for experts addressed to organisations and individuals. The purpose is to establish a database of independent experts to assist the Commission's services for tasks in connection with the new Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) (2007-2013). These experts will be called to assist in various tasks e.g. evaluation of proposals, assistance in the monitoring of projects and for other purposes where specific expertise might be required.

The specific areas include expertise in telemonitoring and telecare, point of care devices, biomedical sensors, signal processing, mobile and wireless communications, data mining, electronic health records, semantic integration and interoperability of health data, security/privacy, medical imaging processing and analysis, in silico simulation, visualisation, modelling of physiolgical processes and supporting infrastructures and tools like Grid technologies.
