ARMTELEMED: Road to the Future

14 - 16 October 2011, Yerevan, Armenia.
Less than two months is left before the opening of the First Armenian International Congress on Telemedicine and eHealth "ARMTELEMED: Road to the Future", and the organizational heat is rising parallel to the summer heat in the city of Yerevan. The congress, co-organized by Armenian Association of Telemedicine (AATM), Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University (RAU) and Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE), will incorporate plenary and scientific sessions, panel discussions and round tables, the Seminar of the International School of Telemedicine and eHealth, and an exposition of telehealth companies.

ARMTELEMED announces the Sponsors & Supporters - the array of the organizations, institutions and companies that expressed their willingness to support the event in the form of direct co-funding or provision of other important services. The congress will be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, and will be endorsed by the two principal global NGOs in the field of telemedicine and eHealth that the congress: the International Society for Telemedicine and eHealth (ISfTeH) and the American Telemedicine Association (ATA). The partial funding for the meeting will be provided by the State Committee of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia; by the US Department of State through the United States Alumni Association of Armenia (USAAA); and by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) (which will co-fund the Seminar on Telemedicine and eHealth).

The privilege of being the Principal Sponsor of the Congress is announced by major telecom provider Orange Armenia (a subsidiary of FRANCE TELECOM); the Byblos Bank Armenia will be the Partner Bank of the event.
