Integrated Data and Real Time Decision Support Webinars

As part of its care-integration service and education programme 'Key Accelerators for Integrated Working', HCS, a subsidiary of HFMA, is offering a series of six free webinars. Targeted at CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, CCG board members, clinical directors and other front line clinical champions, this series of webinars provides an overview of the six key accelerators necessary to establish and sustain an integrated care model.

Theme two of the series, Integrated data and real-time decision support will take place on Thursday 11th October at 1pm GMT.

Presented by Dr Rob Beardall, Chief Medical Officer, Net.Orange and Bill Morrison, Director of Health Informatics, NHS, the learning outcomes of this webinar will enable participants to:

  • Create an integrated data infrastructure combining clinical, operational and financial data to provide real-time business/clinical process insight, guidance and alerts;
  • Support best clinical practice through workflow enabled care plan checklists and identify gaps in care and opportunities for early intervention;
  • Provide real-time decision support to improve care delivery monitoring and both cost and clinical effectiveness;
  • Understand the importance of data capture as a by-product of care delivery (checklists) enabling more effective closed-loop feedback to encourage appropriate behaviour and identify needs for further process change.

Forthcoming webinars as part of the '6 Key Accelerators for Integrated Working' educational programme will run over the coming months as follows:
