HIMSS Europe CIO Summit 2013

HIMSS Europe12 - 14 November 2013, Madrid, Spain.
The HIMSS Europe CIO Summit gathers leading IT Directors and Senior Healthcare IT Executives during a 2-day event in Madrid, Spain. Comparative benchmarking, adoption scoring, a hospital site visit and rich networking make this forum a must attend event for decision makers, seeking to drive healthcare delivery organisations towards effective users of information technology.

The eHealth Roadshow Spanish Edition is part of the HIMSS Europe CIO Summit. We are offering the opportunity for Spanish health IT companies to make short presentations in English of their products or services and gain feedback orinterest from a discerning, buying audience.

This is a highly cost effective opportunity for Spanish companies to gain a wider international exposure. The audience will be led by a Health IT Committee of European health IT leaders.

The summit will feature speakers who will deliver presentations and lead discussions focusing on the Summit's overall theme of Improving Quality of Care through IT. Individual topics to be explored include:

  • Change management: The road to success
  • The CCIO as the driver of change
  • Clinical decision support systems
  • The medication security chain
  • Health information exchange in chronic disease management and social care
  • Mobility: Next steps in innovative services for patients and professionals
  • Nurses' role in the process of deploying IT
  • Measuring to improve: Big data, healthcare results and ROI

This year, the Summit will be larger than ever as it features a two-track programme and an exhibition.

The HIMSS Europe CIO Summit offers unparalleled opportunities for sponsors and exhibitors to reach out to the highest echelons of European healthcare decision makers.
