WoHIT 2014 Highlights

The WoHIT 2014 Exhibition floor is the place to be this year. Witness the many world class exhibitors, new product launches, educational sessions, networking opportunities, interoperability demonstrations and much more:

Interoperability Showcase
An exclusive Interoperability Showcase will be organised for this year's World of Health IT conference and exhibition. The joint Showcase from HIMSS Europe and IHE will present the benefits of standards-based interoperable health IT solutions. The vision is to provide healthcare stakeholders a chance to see the potential for shared health IT all the way from the hospital, to the community and back to the patient's home.

  • Opening Reception, Wednesday, 2 April 17:00 - 18:30.
    WoHIT 2014 kicks off in style with a chance to relax and orient yourself with our welcoming mixer. Taking place on the expo floor and open to all our guests, it's going to be a great way to catch up with familiar faces, meet some new colleagues - and take an early peek at some of the innovative industry solutions already set up for your convenience. So don't forget to pass by, as you don't want to miss this chance to relax after your travel.
  • HIMSS Europe Awards Dinner, Wednesday, 2 April 19:00 - 22:00.
    HIMSS Europe's going to be using the WoHIT 2014 context as the framework for the 2014 Annual Awards celebration. This is where pioneers in European hospitals get a chance to be celebrated and recognized for their achievements by their peers, with a focus on those whose hard work let's them get to the prestigious Stage 6 or 7 EMR Adoption Model (EMRAM) stage. Come along to see what institutions like yours could get from innovative use of paperless environments or get a picture of current real-world EMR best practices.
  • WoHIT Special Event, Thursday, 3 April 19:00 - 23:00.
    After two solid days of peer discussion, technology evaluation and education about the latest health IT industry trends, can you think of a better way to end your time at the conference than convivial company, refreshment and maybe even the chance to boogie?

mHealth Summit Europe
The mHealth Summit Europe at WoHIT 2014 brings together global leaders in government, the private sector, industry, academia, providers and not-for-profit organizations to discuss the themes such as: security of the data, chronic disease management and qualified self-well being.

EU SME eHealth Competition
Participate in the third EU SME eHealth Competition to discover the most innovative eHealth solutions developed by European entrepreneurs and small companies. This is an excellent opportunity to network with potential partners, healthcare stakeholders and investors.
