Med-e-Tel 2015 Conference Program

The preliminary Med-e-Tel 2015 conference program is available online. With the IHE-Europe Connectathon (20-24 April) taking place in conjunction with Med-e-Tel, and a day of Med-e-Tel pre-conference sessions (21 April), this will be a week of eHealth activities, conference sessions, workshops, meetings and exhibition, all conveniently located in one place.

The Med-e-Tel conference program already contains an IHE Symposium (on interoperability issues and practical examples), a session on 'Pharmacy and m/eHealth' presented in collaboration with the Pharmaceutical Group of the European Union (PGEU), a 'Telecardiology' session (presented in collaboration with the European Society of Cardiology Working Group on e-Cardiology), a focus on 'smart technologies for independent living, wellbeing, active and healthy ageing' (in collaboration with Auton'Hom-e and with the European Association of Homes and Services for the Ageing), a course and sessions on 'Social Media' (by the ISfTeH Social Media Working Group), a focus 'Open Source Software in Healthcare' (by the ISfTeH Open Source Working Group), and much more.

The IHE-Europe Connectathon 2015, IHE's annual interoperability and interconnectivity test marathon, will also be held in conjunction with Med-e-Tel.
