Global Digital Brand Manager

In this role you define and manage the business/marketing strategy and improve continuously the results of our digital brands and products, ensuring the marketing plan and tactics are implemented and responsively adapted to the competitive landscape with full buy-in and collaboration of the affiliates, leading to the commercial success of our digital brands and products.

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and champion global high-class futuristic strategic plans for development of future and continuous growth of current digital brands and products, putting us ahead and better than competitors
  • Develop global inspirational brand goals, define and review brand architecture, brand positioning and competitive differentiation, digital channels and messaging in all aspects
  • Design and drive strategies and plans for awareness, engagement, content and social media strategy for the brand, ensuring continuous conversation and engagement in tune with the target audiences and their preferences and needs
  • Devise strategies to drive traffic, adoption and engagement of our digital brands and products, tracking conversion rates and driving ongoing timely improvements
  • Devise and utilize a range of innovative digital marketing and eCommerce initiatives, campaigns and techniques, tools and services to continuously promote our brands, including programmatic media, pay-per-click (PPC), paid search (SEM), SEO and PPC.
  • Ensure digital products are continuously meeting the needs of the target customers, with the right usability, design, content.
  • Responsibility for P/L planning and budgetary control of the future digital brands and its digital marketing and eCommerce products and channels
  • Continuous data analysis and evaluation of the market conditions and competitor data
  • Continuous review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital.
  • Ensure affiliate marketing plans are aligned with the strategy and portfolio imperatives and are reviewed and challenged/remedied as needed
  • Build global and affiliate priorities to ensure proper digital portfolio management
  • Create global launch and continuous improvement plans and closely track the implementation at the affiliate level
  • Create and deliver global marketing initiatives and campaigns to support affiliates in the delivery and execution of local brand strategy

Position Accountability/Scope

  • Drive adoption, engagement and potentially new revenue growth for the assigned future digital brands and products globally, by supporting and directing key affiliates (80% rule) making sure brand performance exceeds the market (by sales growth and MS in %)
  • Shape a dynamic working environment in which all stakeholders share common objectives and are motivated to excel in execution
  • Have deep understanding of the global digital landscape and also the local market reality/needs, challenge and support priority affiliates on their local strategy, tactics and implementation plans by spending at least 50% of the time in the markets
  • Champion sharing and portfolio expansion and continuously review and enhance brand positioning, portfolio choices and brand architecture
  • Work closely with the trade & sales department to drive the inclusion of digital brands and services into the portfolio selling through key accounts and pharmacy partnerships
  • Be a catalyst for product innovation and pipeline development by identifying opportunities in order to improve the coverage of the category and brands
  • Review and validate all commercial input and prepare business cases for the Innovation Board
  • Define and prepare the external communication plan (KOL Congresses / Symposiums)
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships across the stakeholder base

Experience/Training Required

  • Min. 6-8 years of brand and product management, including 3 years of experience on development/management of digital brands and/or digital marketing eCommerce experience
  • Significant sales and marketing experience ideally including exposure to global project initiatives
  • Proven track record in building brands at the global or regional level
  • Working experience in or with international / Head Quarter positions
  • Experience within the Pharmaceutical industry is a plus but not a must have
  • Experience in services /travel industry (e.g. booking.com, Expedia), FMCG, Entertainment also very welcome
  • Experience working on an Emerging Markets scope is an asset
  • Proactive and can-do and assertive attitude is a must with proven track record of driving digital within a business
  • Highly analytical, excellent communication skills, experienced in project management, high level, team player, innovative, proactive, solution oriented, customer focused, business acumen
  • Brand Building, Strong knowledge of Digital channels, services and technologies
  • Change Management and Project Management skills
  • Knowledge of Basic Finance, Budgeting and reporting as well as Pricing for the new digital products and services
  • Promotion marketing, Strategy development
  • Pharmaceutical industry and business knowledge (as a plus)

Languages:

  • English fluent, any other language would be an asset
