The Networking Sessions at ICT 2008 complement the conference and exhibition and provide an open forum for exchanging views and ideas on how to address current ICT challenges. Networking sessions encourage forward-thinking collaborative initiatives that support the development of the European Research Area. The ICT 2008 Exhibition intends to show concrete results of research in and around Europe related to information and communications technologies. This call for exhibition ideas is open to any organisation involved in European research and development as well as deployment projects and associated support activities. 
The Network for Integrated Systems in Telemedicine (NEST) invites Russian and German healthcare/telemedicine experts from 14th to 16th April, 2008 (Moscow) for a workshop combining lectures and dialogues between representatives of the Charité University Medicine Berlin and the Russian Medical State University. 
The European Commission's Information Society and Media Directorate General published the report of the TeleHealth2007 conference. This conference provided a first overview and introduction to all the reasons why the European Commission is beginning to explore the possibilities for a future action plan for Europe on telemedicine. It would be published in the context of a Commission Communication.
