Come and join Siemens Healthineers as Business Development Manager to Identify and develop sales opportunities for our managed service business area Enterprise Services & Solutions (ES) where we provide flexible, holistic solutions for healthcare providers that help them to reduce costs, improve clinical outcomes and enhance patient experience.

Your mission and responsibilities

  • Identify and develop ES opportunities together with Head of Business Development and ES Business Development, Healthcare Consulting and Operations teams
  • Educate and support customers and partner organisations on ES portfolio to drive ES business success
  • Develop successful business models to meet customers requirements
  • Identify new areas for expansion of business scope through working with external organisations
  • Management of risks and opportunities for opportunities to minimise exposure
  • Educate and support customers and partner organisations on ES portfolio to drive ES business success
  • Develop customer specific solutions through multi-level relationship building
  • Prospect and support Consulting and Transformation engagements as required
  • Availability to travel nationally and globally, to support local and global engagements
  • Provide regular updates to ES country senior management through formal and informal processes
  • Develop and orchestrate partnership with internal and external stakeholders in line with ES strategy and principles
  • Drive ES marketing activities in accordance with Country/ Region/Business Area targets
  • Prepare documents to support internal business governance process requirements for opportunities and execute country bid responsibility during bidding/proposal development process
  • Development of sustainable business plans, including participation/leadership of Account Business Plans (ABP) as required, aligned to the changing customer environment incorporating all elements of ES portfolio
  • Ability to work across the Siemens Healthineers organisation, ensuring effective client stakeholder management at all levels within a target customer account
  • Participation in and delivery of market segmentation methodology, focusing on development of account/client prospecting
  • Achievement of all quarterly and annual business area financial targets (including but not limited to order intake and revenue)
  • Report to Head of Business Development for ES in GB&I

Required Experience

  • Excellent knowledge and experience of healthcare in the UK and Ireland
  • Ideally experience of working with / within the NHS / Healthcare Sector
  • Experience in bringing a virtual team together and managing third party organisations (construction, installation, financing, etc.).
  • Ideally some experience in Managed Equipment Services (healthcare provider - industry partnerships) including legal, commercial and financing issues

  • Ability to travel across the UK, this is a "home-based" role offering a great deal of autonomy. Looking after mainly South of the Midlands within the UK but could be required to travel anywhere in the UK.
