Tieto and Phoniro Creates a Mobile Solution for Home Care Services

TietoTieto has signed a partnership agreement with Phoniro Systems AB that will give municipal home care services in Sweden access to a comprehensive mobile solution. The solution consist tools for planning, digital key management, mobile documentation and time and work registration fully integrated with the business system, Laps Care planning tool and Lifecare Mobil Hemvård (mobile home care). The system enhances working efficiency and frees up time that can be spent on human interaction between staff and care recipients. There are also clear environmental benefits.

The partnership between Tieto and Phoniro means a connected chain of services for home help service staff. Safety is enhanced for care recipients with improved quality of delivery and is most clearly expressed by digital key management. This is a completely keyless system with no risk of physical keys going astray and that guarantees care recipients that the person opening the door is really the person authorised to do so. Studies also show that clear time savings can be made when manual key management is abolished. There are also environmental benefits as the number of kilometres driven by staff fall because they no longer need to collect keys that are missing when unexpected events occur.

"We're pleased that we've now enhanced our partnership with Phoniro - we complement each other on the market and create an efficient solution for home help services. There's great pressure from Swedish municipalities to eliminate key management, and being able to meet this need within our mobile solution is incredibly satisfying," says Ulf Grape, Product Owner of Lifecare Mobil Hemvård and Laps Care at Tieto.

"With Tieto we're creating a unique comprehensive solution for home nursing that produces efficiency and safety. Our joint offering has been very well received on the market, says Magnus Larsson, Marketing Director at Phoniro."
